PSYCHOLOGIST, Solution Focused Brief Therapist (SFBT)
I am originally from Poland, but over the last 20 years I have lived, raised a family, studied and worked in several countries in Asia, America and Europe. My firsthand experiences as an expat trying to adapt to another culture, help me to appreciate the challenges often faced by the international community living and working abroad.
I studied psychology in Singapore at the SIM University, where I got my Bachelor (BSc) degree, authorized by the Open University, UK. Afterwards I have attended a college in Maryland, USA; where I’ve completed a semester of psychology studies with honors. I have graduated from Master’s Degree (Cum Laude) at The University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Poland (specializations: Clinical Psychology, Addictions- Prevention and Therapy).
I have gained my work experience in the Regional Psychiatric Hospital in Gdańsk and Gdynia’s Crisis Intervention Centre in Poland. I am a graduate of a Basic Systemic Therapy Training “Family as a System” and a certified Solution Focused Brief Therapist (SFBT).
I regularly attend conferences, trainings and courses to further develop myself as a psychologist. Currently I live in Rotterdam, NL, where I have my private practice. I work with individual clients, couples and dyads (e.g. mother and child). My work is supervised.
